The Saint James Trojans boys defeated Dothan High School (6A) 4 – 1 at Carlisle Field.  Luis Pimentel scored first for Dothan High School at the 32 minute mark in the first half, but Saint James’s Coleman Taylor answered with a goal in the 36th minute leaving the score tied at 1 -1 at the end of the first half.

Saint James returned after the half with aggressive play.  Elliot Burrow scored just five minutes into the second half of the match with an assist from Richard Williamson to give Saint James the lead. Ben Olree scored the last two goals of the match for Saint James with an assist from Coleman Taylor at the 6 minute mark and again at the 20 minute mark of the second half.  Saint James’s tough back line and the play by Keeper Dashaun Lewis kept Dothan High School scoreless in the second half.

For the game Dothan High School took 23 shots, 11 on goal, while Saint James took 10 shots with 6 on goal. Dashaun Lewis had 10 saves and one goal allowed while Dothan’s Evan Hogan had two saves with four goals allowed.  Each team had three corner kicks.

Ben Olree and Farris Abdullah were co-named "Men of the Match".
