SAINT JAMES featured two sets of soccer teams (all co-ed) before the Alabama High School Athletic Association sanctioned soccer as a sport in 1991.

The school featured YMCA League Teams in 1984 and 1985, and then participated in the 1990 Central Alabama Youth Soccer League, the only year it was in existence, prior to AHSAA sanctioning.
