Jason Smith rushed for over 20 yards per carry, garnering 237 yards on just 11 rushes, 4 of those touchdowns, as part of a Trojan rushing attack of 497 yards.  The head coaching career of Robert Johnson got off to a big bang at Saint James as the Trojans took home a 39 - 21 victory over the homestanding Alabama Christian Eagles.

Smith's touchdowns were of  94, 88, 17, and 6 yards.  Backup Jake McMillan added a 51 yard touchdown run of his own.  No other Trojan scoring information is available.  The Eagles picked up two touchdowns thanks to their quarterback David Anfield.  He ran for a 3 yard touchdown and passed for a 10 yard touchdown to Brett Roxsford.
