Coleman Fountain scored on touchdown runs of 34 and 15 yards, Martin Pierce scored on a 5 yard run, and Brett Boutwell tossed a 58 yard touchdown pass to Phillip Willingham and a two point conversion pass to Denny Gardner as the Bulldogs improved to 6 - 2 by defeating the outmanned Trojans 38 - 0 in Mobile.

Alan Olsen had another respectable passing game for St. James, completing 10 of 19 passes for 136 yards with 1 interception. Jay Robertson caught 4 of those tosses for 68 yards, and Richard Meadows caught 2 more for 49 yards. Jason Smith led the Trojan rushing attack, as it was, with 53 yards on 14 carries. Lucas Harris, for the second consecutive week, was a star for the St. James defense, as he led the team with 10 tackles and added both a quarterback sack and a fumble recovery.
