Johnny Redding scored two early touchdowns on the ground,
Jeff Stevenson threw two second half touchdown passes, and
Kelly McGee picked up a touchdown in between on an eight
yard run as Saint James solidified their grasp on a playoff
spot as they walloped the injury-laden Marbury Bulldogs 43 -
6.
Redding's eight yard touchdown was the final play of an
eight play drive. He ran for 31 yards twice on the
second touchdown drive before cashing in from three
yards. Mark Kitchens scored on a 24 yard run just
before halftime. Marbury's only scoring drive opened
the third quarter as Joey Wurtz concluded a 50 yard drive
with a short touchdown run. However, Saint James
eliminated any Marbury thought of comeback with the McGee
touchdown and the first Stevenson touchdown pass on the last
play of the third quarter.
