The Trojans extended their winning streak to eleven with a 50 - 7 thrashing of Marion Military Institute.  Johnny Redding again scored three times, on two short touchdown runs and a 55 yard punt return.  He finished with 123 yards on 13 carries.  Kelly McGehee scored his first two touchdowns of the season in relief duty in the fourth quarter, and Andy Johnson nailed a career long 41 yard field goal just before halftime as the Trojans, at the time ranked # 5 in the state in 1A, prepared for one of their biggest games ever against # 3 ranked Highland Home for a likely berth in the playoffs - the first ever for Saint James.
