Saint James won its tenth consecutive game over two seasons by scoring three touchdown in the first quarter, and once again the substitutes were brought into the game in the third quarter as the Trojans defeated the visiting Thorsby Rebels 34 - 7. 

Saint James rushed for 214 yards on only 26 carries, with Johnny Redding
racking up 153 yards on only 10 carries, including 3 and 60 yard touchdown sprints.  Lee Schofield scored another touchdown on the last play of the first quarter, Tommy Aplin converted a screen pass from Ben Gross into a 44 yard touchdown scamper, and Keith Gardner blocked a punt and returned it himself 50 yards for another score before Thorsby averted a shutout with a fourth quarter touchdown pass of their own.
