Johnny Redding rushed for 120 yards on 13 carries and scored three touchdowns, including one on a 50 yard punt return, and Jeff Soroka recovered two Houston Academy fumbles in Trojan territory as Saint James won its second consecutive road game to start the season, a 29 - 7 victory over the Raiders.

Redding's 64 yard run and a 43 yard touchdown pass on a screen play from Ben Gross to fullback Tommy Aplin broke open the game in the fourth quarter.  It was Gross' third touchdown pass of the young season.  Andy Johnson added a 35 yard field goal shortly before halftime as well.
