After a tightly-fought scoreless first half, the Montgomery Academy Eagles put the game away with three
consecutive touchdowns.  Travis Gordon, who led Montgomery Academy with 147 yards rushing on 27 carries, scored the first one midway through the third quarter.   Jim Parker, the 1982 Eagle hero against the Trojans, and quarterback Charlie Bressler each added rushing touchdowns.  The Eagles outrushed the Trojans 281 (59 carries) to 96, and tripled the Trojan first down output, 18 - 6.
