Alabama Christian ended their 11-game scoreless streak on the first scrimmage play of the game with a 70 yard touchdown pass, and Saint James was unable to score until the fourth quarter as Pat Cope caught a 39 yard touchdown pass from Kenny Moore.  However, a failed two point conversion left the Trojans trailing.  On this night, luck was with the Trojans as a Pat Allen fumble recovery with four minutes remaining in the game at midfield set up the second Moore to Cope touchdown combination of the game for the come-from-behind victory, the second thus far this season within the last two minutes of play.
