GAME 6:  Houston Academy 21, Saint James 0

Raider Bobby Moore caught touchdown receptions of 57 and 67 yards to lead the way as Houston Academy held the Trojans scoreless for the fourth consecutive week.  Homecoming 1977 was not nearly as happy an event as it had been the previous year, and limited information is available about this game.   Several days after the game, Saint James Head Coach Bubba Sawyer was granted a release from his head coaching contract to allow him to return home with his wife to southern Alabama because of her health-related issues.  Prior head coach Roger Lambert once again accepted the head coaching duties for the remainder of the season.
