The banged-up Trojans were soundly defeated by the Wildcats in their first ever football meeting, after Trinity chose to leave the Alabama Private School Association prior to the beginning of the school year.  After an 0 - 4 start to the Wildcats' season, their first win ever in the Alabama High School Athletic Association was memorable as they ran roughshod over the Trojans who were quite shorthanded from injuries suffered during the previous two games. Six different Wildcats scored touchdowns.  It also marked the third consecutive game in which the Trojans failed to score.
