Saint James celebrated a
successful Homecoming 1976 thanks to a toughening defense,
especially late in the game when they stopped a promising Red
Devil drive inside the Trojan ten yard line as time was
expiring. Bruce May's short touchdown run midway through
the first quarter was the only score of the game, and
fortunately the only score needed by the Trojans to raise their
overall record for the season to 3 - 2.
