September 10, 1976.  Catholic Field.

Three year starting Montgomery Academy quarterback Alan Bollinger was on the sidelines with an injury, but Bruce Hill took over and performed well enough to lead the Eagles to a shutout win in Saint James' 1976 home opener.  The Trojans committed six turnovers (four interceptions and two lost fumbles) including an interception in the Eagle endzone just moments after the second touchdown had been scored.  Many Saint James supporters were not pleased with the field goal attempt immediately prior to the end of the game which may have been viewed as an attempt to run up the score as amends to the Trojans' surprising 1975 thumping of the Eagles on their home turf.
