Fred Knight was a one-man wrecking crew for the Flying Squadron in the first half, scoring two touchdowns and rushing for 106 yards.  He only rushed for a total of 10 yards in the second half.  Saint James as a team rushed for only 15 yards in the first half but gained 124 in the second.  The Danny Dean touchdown was set up by a 40 yard pass from Alan Spear to Wem Mellown.  A defensive penalty negated the initially missed extra point attempt, and allowed the Trojans the chance to convert for two points from half the distance instead, which they did on a Spear keeper.  Later, a blocked punt and a thirty yard Dean run set up the game winning score.  Dean had 11 carries for 55 yards, including the huge carry on the winning drive, while James Martin added 53 yards on 13 carries.
