Saint James IS the first AND STILL THE ONLY independent or public high school in
THE ENTIRE STATE of ALABAMA to present an equestrian 'team'.

As the sport is not yet sanctioned by the Alabama High School Athletic Association,
there is no official competition against other state high schools, nor any "state champion" determined.
Saint James competes against schools across the Southeast and the remainder of the country.

That may change in the future.
