Trinity's tough defense did not allow Saint
James to score its second game field goal until almost 2
minutes remaining until halftime. Trinity led 10 - 3
after one quarter but Saint James cut the margin to 5 at 20 -
15 at halftime thanks to mostly free throws. Saint James
could never earn a tie score, and after cutting the margin
again to 5 at 30 - 25 Trinity scored the final six points of
the third quarter and cruised in the fourth. Bo
O'Ferrell and Parker Hughes each scored a dozen to lead
Trinity. Bradley Thomas scored 10 and Jake Yohn 9 to
lead the Trojans.
Trinity was deadly from the free throw line, making 11 of
12. Saint James had more than double the amount of free
throws (25) but could only convert 14.
