The Trojan varsity boys opened their 2020-21 season with a
10 point victory over the visiting Panthers. Jake
Yohn hit three 3 pointers in the first half to account for
his 9 points. K.J. Jackson also added 9.
Bradley Thomas was the leading game scorer with 21.
Saint James led by 10 at halftime, 24 - 14. PCA cut
the lead to 25 - 23 by scoring 9 of the first 10 points in
the third quarter, but the Trojans ended the quarter with
8 in a row to push the lead back to 10. Saint James
led by as many as 15 (43 - 28) before the final margin of
10. Coleman Hunter, who did not start, led PCA with
12 points and Jacob Comer added 9.

Prattville Christian 50, Saint James 32
PCA won their eighth
game of the season and their fourth in the Trojan gymnasium
after sweeping their opponents in the Lady Trojan Tip Off
Tournament in early November and by beating Saint James by 18
this night. Saint James' Hannah Grace Griggs, who led
all scorers with 18, earned a three point play the old way to
start the game, but then the Lady Panthers scored 15 and a row
and held off any Trojan challenges. Ella Jane Connell
led PCA with 17 points (11 in the second half after PCA had
built a 28 - 12 halftime lead. Avery Rogers continued
her torrid shooting in the Trojan gym with 11 points including
three 3 pointers. CoCo Thomas added 8 for PCA.
