St. James took charge early and pulled away in the second quarter in a stretch where 8 consecutive field goals were
made as they downed the Eagles for the second time in the season.  The Trojans led by as many as 32 early in the
final period.  All nine Trojan players tallied a field goal in the game.  The game was physical, but amazingly Alabama
Christian was only called for three personal fouls in the first three quarters, and only nine in the entire game.  Jimmy
Amsler led ACA with 11 points, and Jake Hart hit a pair of three pointers as part of his 8 for the evening.  The Trojans
advance to face Saint Jude in the second round of tournament play.

Emily Meadows' old-fashioned 3 point play midway through the second quarter broke open a close game as the Lady
Trojans went on a 22-1 scoring run over a 9 minute period and cruised to a tournament victory over the Lady Pirates.
St. James held a 14-5 lead early in the second quarter, but St. Jude scored 8 consecutive points to narrow the gap to 1,
as close as it would ever get.  Hillary Barnes and Elizabeth Richards each nailed a three pointer in each half, and Lisa
Bright scored 4 inside baskets in the second half.  Brittnie Davis tied for scoring honors with Barnes with 14 of her own
points, including the lone three made by St. Jude.  The Lady Trojans advance to face Montgomery Academy in the
second round of tournament play.
