Taylor Nelson hit five second half field goals and the Trojan defense battled a much improved Tiger team,
defeating LAMP in their gymnasium.  LAMP led after the first quarter, but after two Nelson free throws to
begin the second quarter, the Trojans never trailed again, although the Tigers did trim an eleven point lead in
the fourth quarter down to four points on several occasions.  Vondrè Wright scored 15 of his 17 points in the
second half to keep the game close.

The Lady Trojans shook off another sluggish start as the upstart Lady Tigers led 12-8 with four minutes remaining in the
first half.  However, St. James then held LAMP without a field goal for the next 11 minutes during a 35-4 scoring run which
broke open a close game for the first 12 minutes.  Carrie Adams led the way with double digit rebounds and several put back
baskets on her way to a game high 14.  Catherine Cowart added all 9 of her points and Hillary Barnes 8 of her 10 in the
second half as the Trojan defenders only allowed 7 Lady Tiger field goals in the game.
