Taylor Nelson scored 31 points, 27 in the second half, and Chris Roberts added 15 and numerous assists as the
St. James Trojans, who were actually trailing by a point after three quarters, outscored Beauregard 26-8 in the
fourth quarter and pulled away to an easy win over the area rival Hornets.  For the second game in a row, the
Trojans converted no three point shots, but repeatedly drove to the basket for layups, especially in the second
half.  The Hornets started off the third quarter with four consecutive three point shots, of the seven they made
in the game, but could only build up a 38-32 lead.  Three consecutive Nelson baskets tied the game at 38, and
Roberts' basket with 6 minutes remaining in the game gave the Trojans a 47-45 lead, one they would not relinquish.
The Trojans scored 15 of the last 18 points in the game to pull away.

Elizabeth Richards kept the Trojans in the game during a very sluggish first half with 15 points, including three 3-pointers,
and added 12 more points in the second half, six of those on a pair of threes, while the defense kept the Lady Hornets off the
free throw line in the second half, as St. James outscored Beauregard 41-12.  Celia Cowart added 5 second half field goals
of her own, and with Hillary Barnes in foul trouble, the tough Lady Trojans defense held the Lady Hornets to only four
field goals in the half.  St. James scored the first 16 points in the third quarter, which proved the decisive run in the matchup.
