St. James was outscored 18-2 in the first quarter, repeatedly thwarted by a tough Lions defense.  However, after trailing 36-24 in the
first minute of the fourth quarter, the Trojans scored 15 consecutive points to take a 3 point lead.  With the score tied at 39 with 35
seconds remaining, Hillary Barnes, playing with four fouls late in the game, hit 4 of 4 free throws to secure an exciting come from
way behind victory.  She scored all 12 of her points (2 3 point goals and 6 free throws) in the second half.

In a game extremely similar to the above listed game, the junior varsity Trojans got down early but hung tight.  However, they never
led in the game and after Prattville scored the first basket of the game, St. James was never tied again until a Kelli Christian three
point basket with 14 seconds remaining in the game tied the score at 34.  However, Prattville had a chance to drive the length of the
court and Shandrè Anderson put back a missed shot as the buzzer sounded to give Prattville the 2 point win, negating an exciting
comeback for the Trojans.  St. James was held to only one field goal, a three pointer, in the first half.  They turned the tables and
held Prattville to only three two point field goals in the second half to aid their comeback.  Prattville's free throw shooting in the second
half (10 of 14) kept them from being overtaken.
