St. James built a commanding third quarter lead, then held off a fourth quarter Eagles rally by scoring the last eight
points of the game, stretching a 55-47 lead into a 63-47 Capital City Conference victory.  Greg Aitken led all scorers
with 20, including the first 7 points of the third quarter.  A well played but clean game as St. James committed only
eight fouls on the evening.

The junior varsity Trojans allowed 17 points to the Eagles in the first quarter but only 11 the remainder of the game.
Trailing 19-7 early in the second quarter, the Trojans allowed no scores in the final 5 minutes of the half to close the
gap to 4, but the Eagles led by 9 at the end of the third quarter.  However, St. James went to the free throw line early
and often in the second half and closed the gap, taking the lead with an 11-0 run midway through the fourth quarter.

The Trojans were in control for the most part of a closely played game before being threatened late by consecutive
Eagle three pointers, but held on for the 40-33 win.  Nathan Brown and T.J. Thompson each scored 11 for ACA,
but the balanced scoring kept the Trojans in the lead from the second quarter on for their first victory of the season.
