For the second time this season, the Trojans and the Eagles matched up in another nail biter which was not decided
until the final possession of the game, and for the second time the Trojans won by a two point margin, this time at
the Montgomery Academy gym on Alumni Weekend.  St. James was in command early.  After allowing the first five
points to the Eagles, the Trojans scored 15 of the remaining 18 points of the first quarter, and actually built a 16 point
lead on a Taylor Nelson three pointer, at 30-14, late in the first half.  MA scored 11 consecutive points, mostly from the
free throw line, to cut the lead to 5, and took the lead late in the third quarter.  However, the Trojans went on a run
themselves, of 12-2, over the next 6½ minutes, and led again by 9, at 46-37, with 96 seconds remaining.  The Eagles
would not be denied at home, as Ross Steinhilber converted an old-fashioned three point play and a Clay Steineker
drive cut the lead to 4 with 42 seconds remaining.  The Trojans turned the ball over, but forced a stop, and Jordan
Kirkland hit a key free throw to extend the lead to 5.  Seconds later however, Walter Parker scored his only points
of the game with a booming three pointer with 20 ticks remaining.  St. James missed two free throw attempts, but MA
could not tie the game on a drive to the basket.  Another foul with just under 6 seconds remaining, and another two
free throw misses gave the Eagles a last chance to tie or win, but their late shot from the lane bounced off the backboard
harmlessly as time ran out and the shorthanded Trojans escaped with a regulation victory.

Hillary Barnes' three consecutive three pointers midway through the fourth quarter temporarily broke open a seesaw
affair, and the Trojans held on late for their third victory of the season over the Lady Eagles, once at home, once on
a neutral court, and this time at the Eagles lair.  Barnes, who had only scored two points on freethrows before the
fourth quarter barrage, added a freethrow for 10 consecutive points and a 41-34 lead late.  The Eagles had several
late opportunities, and had the lead cut down to four before St. James finally ran out the game clock.
